Jun 29, 2026"This experience was absolutely amazing. I can’t decide if the food or the hospitality from this family owned restaurant was better! We had Koshary and Hawawashi, and Shawarma. Everything was prepared fresh in front of you. The owners were so kind and a pleasure to talk with. Absolutely amazing from the moment we walked in to the time we left. We will definitely be back! This place is a must try in Calgary!"

Jun 13, 2026"I recently visited this Egyptian restaurant in Calgary and had such a great experience. The food was incredibly tasty, and you can really tell it’s made with care and authentic flavors. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, which made the whole visit even more enjoyable. It felt like a warm and inviting place from the moment we walked in. We especially loved the kushari and the mumbar—both dishes were absolutely delicious and full of flavor. Their Hawawshi and Feteer were also very tasty. I’d definitely recommend giving this place a try if you’re in Calgary and craving something unique!"

May 16, 2026"First time in here, and I'm not super familiar with specifically Egyptian food but saw the raving reviews about the pitas being handmade, decided to try the hawashi and, man, lemme tell ya, the flavourful spices in this thing are crazy. I could smell it cooking across the waiting area despite multiple fans blowing the other direction. This thing is juicy, crispy, delicious. The dude working there was super nice and chatted for most of my stay, too. Shout outs all around great time!"

May 12, 2026"Wow! This was the best Hawawshi I have ever eaten! I really really enjoyed every bite! People are so nice and welcoming! Amazing experience honestly for me! The only down side was the price! It was so expensive! I got 1 piece of hawawshi cost me $18 which is not even a side on a medium pizza more like a small one! And for 6 pieces of mumbar was $27 I paid almost $50 for just one meal So that was the only thing I was shocked about otherwise everything was great"

Mar 05, 2026"I’m happy to have come here today. I ordered a beef Donair and a cheese pizza, along with rice pudding and the sweet pastries. The owner was very kind and offered my son 2 free pastries as he was really restless at that time. The pastries were thoroughly enjoyed and I ended up ordering 4 more as they were truly amazing. I love the donair I’m usually don’t eat out but this is going to be my new go-to. The rice pudding I had later this evening and it was great as well. Again I can’t say how much I appreciate my experience here today, the customer service and kindness of the owner was truly outstanding. Food 5/5 stars. Service 5/5 stars and everything else."
